To pursue this question, I focused on three different classes one pre-IB Advanced Chemistry class, and two Advanced Biology classes which I taught as a part of my student teaching at Northeast High School.

To measure retention, which I defined as being able to remember the material at some later point, I based most of my research on student test, quiz, and individual assignment scores, and student surveys.
