To begin the unit on mitosis, I wanted to try a different form of note-taking. I therefore wrote out all of the notes and diagrams for the 4 different stages in mitosis on 8 pieces of paper and posted them around the room. I labeled the 4 sets of notes “A, B, C, and D,” and I labeled the four diagrams “1, 2, 3, and 4,” as shown in this portion of the artifact.

The next day, in their Do-Nows, I had them list the stages of mitosis in order. The 4 differnt kinds of results I got are shown in this portion of the artifact.
